My Style

I specialize in large-scale black and grey realism. This means anything realistic with imagery such as gothic, surrealism, portraits, mythology, nature, etc.

Project Timelines

The amount of time a project needs depends on the size and detail of the project but here are rough projections.

1 Panel (ex. inner forearm, outer bicep, inner calf, outer thigh, rib, half chest): 1 full day session.

Arm Sleeve: 4-5 full day sessions.

Leg Sleeve: 5-6 full day sessions.

Back piece: 3-7 full day sessions.

Chest piece: 2 full day sessions.

Full Day Session

All of my sessions start at 9am. When you come in, we go over the design I created for you (I do not show designs before the appointment). Or we create it on the spot collaboratively if I need more information and insight from you. After we confirm design, we start the stencil process.

 

Most projects we finish stencil and start tattooing by 10am. After 2 hours of tattooing we take a 30 minute lunch break to replenish. Many local food spots or you can enjoy the snack and drinks at the studio. 

 

After lunch, we tattoo for 3-4 hours to finish the day, with 5-10 minute breaks mixed in. We can take however many breaks is comfortable for you. Whatever is needed for your comfort. 

 

Once the tattoo is done, we let it sit for 10-15 minutes so the redness can go down. Then we get photos and videos in our photography setup. After that we wrap you up with bandage, give you aftercare instruction and send you home with a new piece of art!
